  • The card is valid
  • If it is permitted to allow entry
  • If any time zone restrictions apply (i.e. access denied during a specific time interval).
  • If all the conditions are satisfied, then the lock is activated, and the door can be opened.
PCs: The smart card can be utilised for secure login to the PC. A password is stored in the card, which validates that keyed in by the used. The card will also keep track of how many hours were used.
